Team Traditions

This festive season we wanted to do something special, so we’re sharing our favourite holiday treats that have become beloved traditions over the years. Warning – these will make you hungry!

First up is Rachel. While traditionally an Easter dish, Christmas just isn’t Christmas for Rachel’s family without crostili. Don’t they look amazing?

Jessa and the family always look forward to making piparkukas, Latvian pepper/spice cookies similar to gingerbread, with their secret family recipe.

Stuffing, with bacon , is a must! Halyna never made stuffing until she met her husband. Now, since it’s his favourite, they include this tasty dish on the table every year!

Carrie’s grandma always made the best meatballs at Christmas. Thanks to the careful passing down of her recipe, there hasn’t been a Christmas yet without her meatballs on the table. This tradition makes it feel like she’s always with them at this special time of year.

Ross’ mom makes a Scottish trifle every Christmas. Yummy! Do you think she’ll notice if we sneak a few spoonfuls?

It’s our final and amazingly mouthwatering family food tradition for the holidays, featuring Bailey! New Year’s Eve just isn’t the same without Oliebollen (much more delicious than the direct Dutch to English translation of “oil balls” makes them sound).
