Purcell Mountains Challenge For Shelter

Have you heard about the fundraising trek Ross is embarking on in support of Family Transition Place in Orangeville? Covid has increased the need for women’s shelters at a time when fundraising events have been severely limited.

Along with other members of Royal LePage, Ross will be taking part in a 6-day hiking journey across British Columbia’s Northern Purcell Mountains in August.

He’ll cover his own travel costs, and to participate, he must raise a minimum of $5000, 80% of which goes to Family Transition Place in Orangeville and 20% to the Royal LePage Shelter Foundation to fund violence prevention and education initiatives across Canada. You can track his progress at www.gorossgo.com.

Ross has always wanted to participate in such a fundraising expedition, and to do so in support of such a worthy cause is incredibly important to him. Ross will carry all of his own gear across 100 km of scenic yet challenging terrain, combined with tent camping and living without running water, electricity or cell service.

We hope you can support Ross in his fundraising efforts by clicking the link below to donate what you can to help him. We’re all hoping he not only reaches his goal of $5000 but also surpasses it! Thank you for all of your support!
