Sign, Sign, Everywhere a Sign

Since I started as an agent, I’ve always gotten such a sense of accomplishment when I’m able to flip the sign on a listing from “For Sale” to “Sold” but lately I’m enjoying it even more than usual.

If you’ve driven around town in the last month you may have noticed that my signs have changed. An update was definitely needed; my sudden silver fox had people asking where my son was the first time I met them and I have a great new logo that not many people had seen. This update gave me the opportunity to do something that would not only stand out but also give a five-second glance into who I am, both as a person and an agent.

The number one priority was for the new signs to have current pictures and my new logo.  The “For Sale” side of the signs are what you’re probably used to seeing: my name, face, “For Sale”, and contact information.

Usually, the “Sold” side of the signs are an exact duplicate with the exception of “Sold” replacing “For Sale” but this is where I decided to have some fun and do something I hadn’t seen before – I’m celebrating and the “Ross Yeah!” was born.

Even before the signs hit the ground I was excited.  I have so much fun with this job and love that the “Ross Yeah!” really shows that. I don’t think we had them in hand for more than an hour before they started popping up on people’s lawns.

This is where things get a little unbelievable:

I assumed I’d hear about the new signs from my friends and clients but couldn’t have imagined the general response to them! I hear from people probably 10 times a week about how much they love the “Ross Yeah!”. I’ve been stopped in grocery stores, come up to in restaurants, seen pictures of them that people have posted on social media and I even had one woman say she found them so fun that they actually filled her heart with joy which is such an overwhelmingly positive thing to hear! It’s crazy to think of how much of an impact the new signs have had.

Of course, it’s amazing that there has been such a buzz about the signs and I’ve always believed that being yourself and standing out is a great thing but if I had any doubts, these signs would have definitely proven me wrong!
