Summer’s Here, School’s Out – And Orangeville Is Calling!

Summer marks a sweet reset for families. With days freed from school hours, it’s about choosing local adventures—whether on watery splash pads, winding trails, cozy indoor play zones, art-filled streets, or buzzing community festivals. No need to travel far; Orangeville offers a full summer of fun, togetherness, and discovery.

1. Cool Off at Splash Pads

  • Rotary Splash Pad (Fendley Park): With ponds, interactive sprayers, and shaded picnic spots, this accessible water zone is a favourite for young siblings to teens!

  • EveryKids Splash Pad (Harvey Curry Park): Packed with ground sprays, a ladybug “soaker,” and playground space—ideal for hours of fun and laughter

2. Explore Island Lake Conservation Area

A beautiful 330 hectare escapade with trails, boardwalks, canoeing, kayaking, fishing—and lots of wildlife to discover. It’s a peaceful but adventure filled day out in nature.

3. Indoor Play & Rainy-Day Backup

Recess Play is a wonderland of slides, climbing structures, toddler zones and activity stations—a safe haven when the weather’s moody or you just want indoor thrills.
